In this role, you’ll work alongside industry leaders like Jeremy Wiesen, AIA, and Bob Nussear, AIA, gaining mentorship and insight while contributing to high-impact projects. You’ll also collaborate with internal resources; from code reviewers and spec writers to visualization specialists and construction administrators; ensuring every design is as thoughtful as it is bold.

Essential Duties
- Work directly with clients in all phases of design process – from the initial napkin sketch to opening the front door!
- Evaluate, select and apply standard architectural techniques, procedures and criteria using judgment for minor adaptations and modifications
- Develop and maintain project budgets, work plans, and contracts
- Collaborate with other enthusiastic ISGers while leading design efforts to create inspiring and uplifting spaces to live, work, and play
- Communicate project goals, objectives, design standards and procedures with project managers and multi-disciplinary teams
- Maintain the quality control of drawings and specifications
- Direct the development and preparation of project contract documents
- Get your boots dirty conducting site visits to observe construction progress and respond to any on-site challenges
- Help mentor and develop the next generation of designers and architects

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- 10 years of professional design experience and licensed to practice architecture
- Bachelor's or Master’s degree from an accredited architecture program
- K-12, Sports Recreation and Government Cultural, experience, a plus
- Ability to communicate ideas empathetically and visually through both written and verbal media
- Ability to represent ISG and clients in public forums
- Familiarity in Revit, Adobe Suite and Sketchup computer software packages
- Demonstrated ability to multi-task and participate with a variety of team members on different projects at varying levels of development
