We are seeking a friendly, motivated Sales Associate to join our retail team. This role involves engaging with customers, providing excellent service, and promoting our products to enhance the shopping experience. Duties
- Greet customers warmly and assist them in any questions they have in regards to there home choice
- Operate POS systems efficiently for sales transactions, including cash handling and cashiering duties
- Conduct product demos to inform customers about features and benefits of manufactured and modular homes
- Upsell products and suggest complementary items to increase sales
- Maintain merchandising standards by organizing displays and ensuring homes and office are clean and organized
- Assist with stocking, inventory management, and setting up decor in homes
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly
- Ensure proper phone etiquette when communicating with customers over the phone or in person
- Supervise or assist in supervising other team members as needed, fostering a collaborative environment
Experience
- Previous retail sales experience is preferred, but not required
- Familiarity with POS systems, cash handling, and basic retail math is advantageous
- Experience with merchandising, stock management, and product demos is beneficial
- Bilingual skills are highly desirable to serve a diverse customer base
- Strong communication skills and excellent phone etiquette are essential for success in this role
- Supervising experience is a plus for candidates interested in leadership opportunities
- Basic math skills are necessary for transactions and inventory management
