As an Area Representative, you’ll play a vital role in welcoming international high school students to the U.S., supporting host families, and fostering connections that change lives—both in your own community and around the world.

If so, you may be interested in becoming an Area Representative for ISE. Area Representatives are the local face of our cultural exchange non-profit organization. Our high school exchange programs strive to bring the people of the world closer together and break down barriers to friendship, and our Area Representatives make it all possible. The main functions of the Area Representative role include:
- Establishing and maintaining relationships with local public high schools
- Recruiting local families to host international exchange students
- Conducting welcome and departure orientations for the students and host families
- Supervising exchange students throughout their stay to ensure safety and well-being
