Responsibilities
- Load and unload packages from trucks using appropriate equipment such as forklifts and RF scanners
- Organize and store inventory systematically within the warehouse to optimize space and accessibility
- Operate forklift equipment safely to move heavy or bulky items across the facility
- Assist with shipping and receiving processes, verifying shipments against documentation
- Maintain accurate records through filing, scanning, and updating inventory logs using RF scanners
- Ensure all packages are handled carefully to prevent damage during transit or storage
- Support warehouse distribution activities by efficiently sorting, stacking, and preparing packages for dispatch
Skills
- Proven experience in warehouse operations or distribution centers is highly preferred
- Ability to operate forklift equipment safely and efficiently; certification is a plus
- Familiarity with RF scanners for inventory management and tracking
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks accurately and promptly
- Physical capability for heavy lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
- Knowledge of shipping & receiving procedures to ensure proper handling of goods
- Excellent attention to detail for filing, labeling, and maintaining accurate records
