Middle School Youth Program Site Supervisor (School Age Care)

We’re looking for a Middle School Youth Program Site Supervisor to lead our School Age Care (SAC) program—someone who can build strong relationships, support staff, and create a space where students feel safe, valued, and excited to participate.

What You’ll Do
Create and lead engaging programs like service learning, leadership groups, academic enrichment, and youth-driven activities
Build a positive, inclusive environment where middle schoolers feel connected and supported
Coach, mentor, and support SAC staff to deliver high-quality programming
Develop daily plans and ensure activities are fun, purposeful, and age-appropriate
Stay connected with families through regular communication and updates
Supervise students during all activities, including outdoor time and field trips
Continuously improve the program by listening, observing, and adapting
Schedule & Details
School Year: Monday–Friday, 2:00 PM – 6:00 PM (20 hrs/week)
Summer: Up to 40 hours/week, with additional planning time built in
Position Type: Year-round (12 months)
Additional Pay Opportunity: Eligible for stipend through the Great Start Compensation Grant
What You Bring
Experience working with middle school youth (school age care, education, or similar)
A natural ability to lead, motivate, and connect with both students and staff
Strong communication and relationship-building skills
Flexibility, creativity, and a positive, team-focused mindset
Experience supporting diverse learners, including students with special needs (preferred)
Certifications
(Required or willingness to obtain)
CPR / First Aid / AED
CPI (preferred)
