ISC is seeking an experienced Procurement & Materials Manager to support our Columbus Regional Office.
This position plays a critical role in supporting construction operations through strategic sourcing, purchasing, material management, supplier relationships, warehouse coordination, equipment management and jobsite logistics.
We're looking for someone who understands that successful construction procurement isn't simply about issuing purchase orders. It's about making sure the right material and equipment arrive at the right place, at the right time, while managing cost, quality and schedule risk.
What You'll Do
Lead regional procurement, purchasing, material management and logistics activities supporting industrial construction projects.
Develop strategic supplier relationships and negotiate pricing, terms and long-term purchasing agreements.
Coordinate material flowfrom suppliers through warehouse locations and ultimately to project jobsites.
Monitor and expedite critical-path materials and long-lead equipment to protect construction schedules.
Identify procurement and supply-chain risks and coordinate solutions with project teams.
Evaluate suppliers based on price, quality, service, availability and project requirements.
Support continuous improvement of procurement and purchasing processes.
Coordinate material staging, laydown areas and jobsite logistics.
Maintain procurement logs, material status reports, inventory records and material tracking systems.
Coordinate equipment procurement, rentals, repairs, calibrations and asset tracking.
