SUMMARY
Under the general supervision of the Accounts Receivable Manager, this position is responsible for generating and sending out invoices through the Company’s ERP system, researching and resolving cost and billing discrepancies, and interacting with industrial customer contacts and their automated billing portals.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Billing of construction and maintenance material and labor to large industrial customers
- Working with customers to answer questions and resolve billing problems
- Ensure accounts receivable aging is accurate and balances to the customer account
- Adapt to various customer billing requirements and payable systems
- Monitor aging reports and alert management to any issues
- Researching and resolving job cost coding issues
- Serve as backup for various accounting functions
- Other similar duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; some college accounting or business coursework a plus
- Experience: Corporate Accounts Receivable ERP environment; Viewpoint experience a plus; Track system a plus
- Construction accounting experience preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Products – Intermediate level
