The Legal Case Associate Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the Legal Case Associate team, ensuring legal documentation, court coordination, client advocacy, and case management activities are completed accurately, timely, and in compliance with applicable laws, organizational policies, and regulatory standards. This position provides direct supervision, coaching, quality assurance, and performance management while promoting exceptional customer service and positive outcomes for clients navigating legal barriers to recovery.

Job Specific Functions

• Maintain working knowledge of Isaiah House policies and procedures.
• Supervise Legal Case Associates and provide ongoing coaching and performance management.
• Conduct regular case reviews to ensure documentation accuracy and timely completion.
• Monitor court dates, legal deadlines, probation requirements, and other client legal obligations.
• Ensure legal documentation is completed accurately and submitted on time.
• Assist staff with complex legal cases and problem-solving.
• Coordinate communication between clients, attorneys, courts, probation/parole officers, and treatment staff.
• Develop and maintain standardized legal workflows and documentation processes.
• Conduct routine quality assurance audits of legal case files.
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA, 42 CFR Part 2, and organizational confidentiality policies.
• Identify workflow improvements that increase efficiency and client outcomes.
• Train and mentor new Legal Case Associates.
• Collaborate with Clinical, Compliance, Admissions, and Operations teams to remove legal barriers impacting treatment.
• Prepare reports on department performance and legal outcomes.
• Handle escalated client concerns related to legal services.
• Promote excellent customer service and professionalism throughout the department.

Requirements: Requirements:

• Reports directly to the VP of Programs.
• Daily communication with the VP of Programs.
• Conduct weekly supervision meetings with Legal Case Associates.
• Complete monthly quality assurance audits for each team member.
• Maintain documentation of coaching sessions and performance improvement plans.
• Submit weekly departmental reports.
• Submit monthly KPI reports.
• Attend leadership meetings as assigned.
• Report urgent legal issues immediately.
• Maintain current knowledge of applicable laws, regulations, and organizational policies.
• Monthly one-on-one meeting with the VP of Programs to review department performance, KPIs, staffing, and operational priorities.
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice, Human Services, Social Work, Paralegal Studies, Business Administration, or a related field preferred; equivalent education and relevant work experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
• Three years of experience in legal case management, corrections, behavioral health, or human services preferred.
• Previous supervisory or leadership experience preferred.
• Knowledge of court systems, probation/parole processes, legal documentation, and client confidentiality requirements.
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with electronic health records and case management software preferred.
• Valid Kentucky Driver's License.
