Role Description
This is a part-time, on-site role for a Support Coordinator at the Isaiah 117 House location in Chattanooga, TN. The Support Coordinator will manage day-to-day operations, provide compassionate care to children, maintain open communication with caseworkers and community partners, and ensure a welcoming environment for all red door guests. Additional responsibilities include ensuring all logistical aspects of the house run smoothly to support the organization's mission.
Qualifications
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively interact with children, caseworkers, foster families, and team members
- Ability to deliver exceptional customer service and provide empathetic, compassionate support in challenging situations
- Proficiency in providing technical support, including navigating organizational systems and tools
- Organizational and problem-solving skills to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively
- Previous experience in social work, child welfare, or a related field is highly beneficial
- High school diploma or equivalent required; a degree in Social Work, Psychology, or a related field is preferred
- A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are necessary for this role
