What are the responsibilities and job description for the File Clerk position at Isabella County Trial Court?
Minimum requirements:
High school graduation or equivalent.
One year of general clerical experience, preferably in a court or related legal setting.
Equivalent combination of training, education and experience that provides the required skills and abilities may be considered.
General summary of duties:
Maintains and organizes case files for the court by generating and monitoring dockets, pulling files, filing documents accurately and promptly and ensuring all records match case management system. Handles sensitive and time critical documents with proper procedures, keeps files orderly and compliant with Michigan standards, and resolves filing errors using strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills. Assists with file movement and retention processes. Performs other assigned tasks.
