What are the responsibilities and job description for the Food Transportation Driver position at Isabella Community Soup Kitchen?
- Drive ICSK vehicle to pick up food donations from various businesses in the Mt. Pleasant area.
- Work closely with the Inventory Manager in ensuring inventory is fully stocked with items needed at Isabella Community Soup Kitchen.
- Assist in the kitchen daily with tasks such as serving, dish washing, and cleaning.
- Maintain the storage of foods including dried food, frozen goods, and cooled items.
- Maintain positive relationships with local businesses that donate food.
- Accommodate unscheduled food pick-ups and drop-offs.
- Communicate with the Executive Director on general maintenance/ up-keep of the ICSK vehicle.
- Unload and load food donations (boxes weighing up to 50 lbs).
- Perform additional tasks per request of the Executive Director.
Must be available M-F, 7:30 am-1:30 pm
Must have clean driving record
Must possess strong customer service skills, be dependable, and possess excellent driving skills'
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour
