Duties
- Safely load, unload, and transport customers’ belongings using box trucks or personal vehicles, adhering strictly to traffic laws and DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations
- Operate material handling equipment such as pallet jacks and manual handling tools to move heavy or bulky items with proper lifting techniques
- Execute moving tasks efficiently by packing, organizing, and securing items to prevent damage during transit
- Maintain clear communication with customers to coordinate delivery schedules and address any special instructions or concerns
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections and ensure compliance with safety standards for commercial driving and load securement
- Use mobile devices to navigate routes effectively, track deliveries, and update job status in real-time
- Assist in warehouse operations when needed, including inventory management and the use of material handling equipment
Qualifications
- Prior warehouse experience or experience in delivery driving is highly preferred
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; experience operating box trucks or commercial trucks is a plus
- Demonstrated ability to perform heavy lifting safely using proper manual handling practices
- Familiarity with route driving, adhering to traffic regulations, and DOT regulations for commercial vehicles
- Experience with manual transmission vehicles or manual handling equipment such as pallet jacks is advantageous
- Strong customer service skills with a professional attitude and clear communication abilities
- Ability to work physically demanding shifts involving manual handling of heavy items and moving supplies
- Knowledge of warehouse operations or material handling equipment operation is beneficial

Pay: $25.55 - $30.77 per hour
