Residential HVAC Technician/Installer

Job Description:

Suburban Services Group is seeking a reliable Residential HVAC Technician/Installer for their Burnt Hills, NY location. The ideal candidate will already have at least two years of HVAC work experience in either HVAC service or installation and will be able to perform maintenance and installation work in a thorough and accurate manner.

 Responsibilities:

• Service HVAC equipment according to an established schedule and company standards; troubleshoot and rectify issues on location.
• Install residential HVAC equipment including water heaters, PV (solar) water heaters, humidifiers, dryer vents, and dehumidifiers.
• Interact with homeowners: educate, build relationships, and address HVAC concerns in a professional manner.
• Develop basic knowledge of residential and mechanical piping and ductwork.
• Ensure that newly installed HVAC equipment is clean, safe, and meets high quality standards before leaving a job site.
• Safely operate hand tools, power tools, generators, and other equipment as required.

 Job Qualifications:

• 2 years of HVAC experience
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• EPA Universal Certification preferred
• Vald driver's license with an acceptable driving record
• OSHA 10-hour certification preferred
• Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs.

The starting base range for this position is $28.00 to $35.00 an hour. This is the range of the base pay only, it does not include other components that make up the total compensation package of the position. If offered a position, your total compensation package will be determined by experience, location, skills, and/or education which may result in a total compensation package that falls outside of the provided range.
