Irwin Enterprises, Inc. is seeking for a highly skilled and proactive Process Technician to ensure the efficient operation of our injection molding machines while maintaining exceptional product quality and safety standards. The successful candidate will operate with limited supervision, be a key part of the production team, and report directly to the Foreman Manager. This role is integral to the daily operations of our molding processes and the continuous improvement of production efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform start-ups for a variety of resins on injection molding machines. Ensuring equipment and products are properly handled.
- Monitor and control the injection molding process to ensure machines are running efficiently and meeting production goals.
- Adjust machine parameters as necessary to optimize production and minimize scrap.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any mechanical or operational issues during production.
- Conduct regular inspections and testing to ensure products meet or exceed quality standards.
- Track production output, monitor cycle times, and report performance metrics to the Production Manager.
- Collaborate with maintenance personnel to ensure equipment is functioning properly and maintained according to manufacturer guidelines.
- Enforce safety protocols and ensure all employees adhere to safety regulations and company policies.
- Conduct daily safety inspections and immediately address any potential hazards.
- Ensure that all required documentation, such as logs and reports, is completed accurately and on time.
- Monitor and document machine operating efficiencies and report findings to management.

Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical or manufacturing certification are a plus
- Proven experience in plastic injection molding, with at least 2-5 years
- Familiarity with quality control standards and best practices in plastic manufacturing.
