What are the responsibilities and job description for the Irvington Elementary School Assistant Academic Coach position at Irvington Elementary School?
- Serves as assistant academic coach for after school and extracurricular academic team events and competitions and reports to the head academic coach and principal.
- Plans and assists in all events, competitions, and programs
- Assists in organizing and supervising all practices and meetings
- Effective communication skills and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of safety regulations, rules, and guidelines
- Work Year: Academic Team Season
- Salary: Stipend Extra Service Salary Schedule
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- Must possess a valid Kentucky driver's license
- Has met the requirements for criminal records check and child abuse and neglect check as specified by Kentucky State Law
- One of the following: minimum of 64 semester hours from an accredited college or university, passed the paraeducator exam, or previous academic teacm coaching experience
- Ability to work effectively with students and parents
- Teacher Certification Preferred
