Position Overview:
We’re looking for a friendly, organized, and dependable Administrative Assistant to join our team. This position plays an essential role in supporting the daily operations of our facility — helping ensure that residents receive the care they need and that our staff have the support they deserve. The right candidate will be compassionate, detail-oriented, and a true team player.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and organize resident medical records in compliance with state and federal guidelines.
- Schedule resident appointments (medical, dental, therapy, etc.) and coordinate transportation for those appointments.
- Provide administrative support to the Administrator and department heads, including data entry, filing, correspondence, and scheduling.
- Assist with front office operations—answering phones, greeting visitors, and helping residents and families with inquiries.
- Help maintain smooth office operations with professionalism, initiative, and a positive attitude.
- Protect resident confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriately.
Qualifications:
- Prior experience in an administrative or healthcare office role preferred (skilled nursing or long-term care experience a plus).
- Strong organizational, multitasking, and time management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook); experience with healthcare software preferred.
- Dependable, courteous, and committed to providing excellent service.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education in office or healthcare administration a plus.
Schedule:
- Full-time, Monday–Friday, daytime hours.
(Some flexibility may be required for special projects or meetings.)
