- Participate in and lead incident investigations and learning teams using the RCFA (Root Cause Failure Analysis) and framework.
- Participate on the plant’s joint health and safety committee and complete other initiatives which drive safety excellence.
- Perform audits and inspections. Coach employees to assist in connecting front-line employees with safety initiatives and goals.
- Present pre-developed safety topics
- Participate as a Member of the sites METs (medical emergency team) group
- Be willing to transform; Seek, develop, and utilize our visions, strategies, methods, and products to create the greatest value; demonstrate leadership, teamwork, and motivation to succeed.
- College student currently pursuing a Health and Safety Bachelor's Degree
- Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)
- Must be 18 years of age
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Self-directed and able to work without supervision
- Energetic and eager to tackle new projects and ideas
