Description
The primary responsibilities are delivering an exceptional customer service experience when communicating with our customers and extreme attention to accuracy when entering orders. Inside Sales Representatives will face a variety of customer requests; primarily taking orders for delivery, requests for pricing, and advice on our product line.
Key Responsibilities:
- Demonstrates a commitment to communicating, improving and adhering to safety policies.
- Manage a large volume of inbound and outbound calls.
- Maintain professionalism and composure under stressful conditions.
- Identify customer needs and be able to ask clarifying questions.
- Communicate pricing for COD customers and upsell value-added products when applicable to customers.
- Build sustainable relationships with customers, both internal and external.
- Provide sales support to current and new customers.
- Receive orders and schedule them properly.
- Record customer orders accurately into the dispatching system.
- Guide and recommend products for specific applications.
- Record all changes requested by the customer accurately and promptly in the Command Data system.
- Responsible for order accuracy through attention to detail.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Strong phone skills – verbal and active listening.
- Problem-solving and analysis skills.
- Teamwork: Supportive, collaborative and cooperative.
- Bilingual in Spanish a plus Customer focus and adaptability to the caller. Maintain a professional demeanor with internal and external clients.
- Ability to multitask, set priorities and manage time effectively.
- Must be able to work in a high stress, fast paced environment.
- Knowledge of market geography or proficiency in mapping programs.
- Concrete knowledge or willingness to learn concrete knowledge.
- Ability to learn quickly in a highly fluid environment.
- Willingness to learn business specific computer programs.
- Willingness to learn our products, their applications and our customer habits. High school diploma required; Associate’s degree a plus. Or equivalent industry experience.
- Proficiency with computers, including Google G Suite and MS Office
