Description
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and coordinate daily activities of construction crews.
Ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with project plans, specifications, and safety regulations.
Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and project documentation in order to fabricate needed parts.
Collaborate with project managers, engineers, subcontractors, and inspectors.
Track equipment, and material needs; report progress and issues to management.
Train, mentor, and evaluate crew members.
Conduct daily toolbox talks, safety inspections, and enforce company safety policies.
Troubleshoot problems and proactively identify solutions to maintain productivity.
Maintain jobsite organization, cleanliness, and equipment readiness.
Requirements:
5 years of industrial or heavy construction experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
Strong knowledge of industrial construction practices, equipment, and safety standards.
Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and plans.
Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
Proficient in jobsite documentation, daily reports, and basic computer skills.
Overnight travel not to exceed 25%
Able to obtain a Class B CDL ( company sponsored)
Able to become MSHA approved ( company sponsored )
