What are the responsibilities and job description for the CRANE MECHANIC/HYDRAULIC TECHNICIAN position at Irving equipment?
Irving Equipment LLC is currently seeking an experienced crane mechanic/hydraulic technician in the Tiffin, OH area. The position will join our team in the mounting of new crane packages as well as the service of used cranes. We are looking for someone with heavy truck mechanic experience, farm equipment repair experience, automotive mechanic experience, hydraulic equipment assembly or maintenance, but most importantly the willingness to learn the required skills.
Job Responsibilities/Duties
- Be able to think independently and perform with a minimum level of supervision.
- Follow hydraulic diagrams and schematics
- Diagnose and troubleshoot issues
- Make repairs
- Install knuckle boom cranes
- Mounting hydraulic components including hydraulic pumps and auxiliary outriggers.
Job Qualifications
- Strong proficiency in mechanical assembly
- Ability to communicate with others
- Hydraulic experience
- Must be able to work in all weather conditions but most of the time you will be in a clean, heated shop.
- Must be able sit, stand, bend, squat, crouch, reach and lift 75lbs for extended periods of time
- 3 years mechanical experience
- Strong and reliable work ethic
- Ability to periodically travel is a bonus
- Class B CDL or higher an asset but not required
- Provide your own basic tools, specialized tools are provided

Pay: $14.00 - $30.00 per hour
