Job Overview

We are seeking an energetic and dedicated Server to join our dynamic restaurant team! Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their visit
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring clear communication with kitchen staff and bar team
• Serve food and drinks promptly, including cocktail and spirits service, maintaining high standards of presentation and quality
• Process sales transactions efficiently while handling cash, credit cards, and digital payments accurately
• Upsell menu items like specialty drinks, wine pairings, or desserts to enhance guest experience and increase sales
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in all service areas following food safety protocols and sanitation guidelines
• Assist with opening or closing duties as needed, including setting up tables, restocking supplies, and cleaning workstations

Qualifications

• Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments; fine dining experience is a plus
• Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; experience with OpenTable is advantageous
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build guest relations and handle diverse situations professionally
• Knowledge of wine, spirits, cocktail preparation, and beverage service techniques
• Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced setting while multitasking seamlessly
• Basic math skills for processing cash transactions accurately and handling sales effectively
• Culinary experience or food industry background preferred; familiarity with food handling and safety practices essential
• Exceptional communication skills coupled with a positive attitude and team-oriented mindset
