🚨 We’re Hiring: Accounts Payable Supervisor
📍 North Tonawanda, NY (On-Site)
Irr Supply Centers is looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Accounts Payable Supervisor to join our accounting team at our Buffalo headquarters.
This leadership role oversees a team of 6–8 employees responsible for inventory and expense auditing, vendor statement review, check processing, account reconciliations, credit applications, and overall accounts payable operations. The ideal candidate will bring strong supervisory experience, accounting knowledge, and the ability to build positive working relationships across departments and with vendors.
Key responsibilities include:
• Supervising daily AP operations and workflow
• Reviewing and reconciling AP accounts and entries
• Processing AP-related general ledger corrections and reporting
• Managing vendor communications and reimbursement follow-up
• Supporting implementation of system and process improvements
• Working closely with our Accounts Payable Analyst and accounting leadership
Qualifications:
✔ 3–5 years of supervisory experience
✔ Strong communication and organizational skills
✔ Attention to detail and problem-solving ability
✔ Bachelor’s degree in Accounting OR equivalent accounting management experience
This is an on-site position based in North Tonawanda, NY and works closely with multiple departments throughout the company, making in-person collaboration an important part of the role.
