We are currently seeking a Part Time compassionate, enthusiastic, and patient-centered Lab Assistant to join our team!
Summary/Objective
The Lab Assistant performs basic laboratory procedures under the supervision of Medical Laboratory Technologists (MT) and Medical Laboratory Technicians (MLT). Responsible for collection of specimens such as blood and urine, performing CLIA waived testing and reporting of results. Laboratory Assistants may be required to travel to other sites off campus to provide phlebotomy services. The age range of patients range from newborn to geriatric. Candidate must have a phlebotomy certification, computer skills, excellent customer service and communication skills. Shift:
- Part time/ 24 Hours per week
- 7:00am-5:00pm
- Monday through Friday (One weekend per month)
Education and Experience
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

The hospital also operates a skilled nursing facility, Iroquois Resident Home, which is attached to the hospital property.
