Ironworkers Local 24 is looking for Journeyman Ironworkers and individuals interested in becoming Apprentice Ironworkers for current and upcoming work opportunities.

Journeyman Ironworkers
We are seeking experienced ironworkers with skills in areas such as:
- Structural steel erection
- Reinforcing steel (rebar)
- Welding and burning
- Rigging and signaling
- Metal decking
- Ornamental iron and miscellaneous metals
- Other aspects of the ironworking trade
Journeyman applicants should have a strong commitment to safety, quality craftsmanship, reliability, and teamwork.
Apprentice Ironworkers
No ironworking experience? That's okay.
Our apprenticeship program provides the opportunity to earn while you learn. Apprentices receive a combination of paid on-the-job training and classroom/instructional training while developing the skills needed to become a Journeyman Ironworker.
We're looking for individuals who are:
- Dependable and willing to work hard
- Comfortable working outdoors and at heights
- Able to perform physically demanding work
- Willing to learn and follow safety procedures
- Interested in building a long-term career in the skilled trades
- Able to travel to different jobsites as work requires
