Ophthalmic Technician – Private Practice | Coeur d’Alene, ID

Ironwood Vision Center is seeking a dependable, detail-oriented Ophthalmic Technician to join our growing private practice. We are committed to delivering efficient, high-quality patient care in a supportive, team-focused environment.
Responsibilities
- Perform preliminary testing (visual acuity, auto-refraction, tonometry)
- Conduct diagnostic testing (OCT, visual fields, fundus photography)
- Accurately document patient history and exam findings in EHR
- Assist the doctor with exams and patient flow
- Educate patients on procedures and treatment plans
- Maintain exam rooms and equipment
Qualifications
- Prior ophthalmic or medical office experience preferred (willing to train the right candidate)
- Strong attention to detail and organization
- Excellent communication and patient care skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- COA/COT certification preferred (or willingness to obtain)

Schedule
- Full-time preferred (4–5 days/week)
- Some Saturdays required

Pay: $19.00 - $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30.0 – 40.0 per week
