What are the responsibilities and job description for the Project Manager - Access Solutions position at Ironwood Heavy Highway?
The Project Manager-Access Solutions will assist in timely completion of daily tasks associated with future and on-going projects. This individual will coordinate project estimates, conduct scope review, aid in the procurement of materials, and collaborate with stakeholders on the scheduling of deliverables. The salary for this position is $100,000 - $115,000 depending on experience.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Assist with review and preparation of bid documents.
- Collaborates with Division management, estimators, clients, etc. to determine the specifications of the project.
- Secures pricing from vendors and subcontractors as required.
- Actively participates in pre-bid meetings with internal stakeholders, clients, owners, etc.
- Maintains project cost histories and compiles material databases.
- Assists in planning weekly work schedules and monitors the logging of hours for manpower/equipment.
- Monitors equipment and material usage to handle inadequacies.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines and prioritize tasks.
- Software experience with Bid2Win, Bluebeam, Microsoft Office / Project, AutoCAD 3D and Insite/Agtek Software is a plus.
Education and Experience:
- BS in Environmental Engineering or Construction Management preferred.
- SWPP knowledge / experience preferred.
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
