Responsibilities
- Assist in setting up and preparing screen printing machines and equipment before production runs
- Collaborate with the screen printing team to ensure production schedules are met in a timely manner
- Load and unload printed garments and materials onto drying racks and equipment
- Monitor the quality of printed products during production, making adjustments as needed
- Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of screen printing equipment to maintain optimal performance
- Support the team in mixing inks and preparing screens for the printing process
- Assist with organizing and maintaining a clean and efficient workspace
- Follow safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment
- Contribute to team discussions and efforts to improve processes and production efficiency
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical training in screen printing or a related field is a plus
- Prior experience in a manufacturing or screen printing environment is highly desirable
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team-oriented environment
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Basic mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn about screen printing processes and equipment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to lift and move materials weighing up to 50 pounds
- Flexible to work varied shifts, including potential overtime during busy periods
- Experience with safety practices in a manufacturing environment is a plus
