The Supervisor provides leadership to the security team, enforces company policies, monitors activity, and ensures compliance with reporting requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and monitor the on-duty security team to ensure all post orders and procedures are followed.
- Ensure the facility is secure by conducting regular patrols and inspections of entrances, exits, and sensitive areas.
- Review and verify that all logs, incident reports, and Daily Activity Reports (DARs) are completed accurately and submitted on time.
- Respond promptly to incidents, emergencies, and security concerns, taking appropriate action to resolve or escalate issues.
- Provide clear direction and leadership to officers, including training, mentoring, and performance feedback.
- Maintain strong communication with management, clients, and staff regarding security operations and concerns.
- Ensure a safe and welcoming environment for visitors, employees, and contractors while enforcing security policies and access controls.
- Coordinate with law enforcement, emergency services, and facility management when necessary.
- Uphold the highest standards of professionalism, integrity, and customer service.
- Prior supervisory or lead experience in security, law enforcement, or military preferred.
- Strong leadership, communication, and conflict-resolution skills.
- Ability to write clear, detailed, and accurate reports.
- Knowledge of security operations, emergency response, and access control procedures.
- Must be able to stand, walk, and patrol for extended periods.
- Valid state security license/certification (as required by jurisdiction).
