An established hospital system located just outside of Rockingham, NC is seeking full-time Behavioral Health Counselor to join their amazing hospital team!
The Behavioral Health Counselor Job Description:
- Full-time, direct hire opportunity
- Mon-Fri schedule
- Great leadership and administration team!
- Responsible for designing, implementing, and overseeing the behavioral health curriculum across all PGY levels, supporting clinical education, promoting resident wellness, and participating in key administrative functions of the residency program. The role combines teaching, clinical service, committee participation, and faculty development.
The Behavioral Health Counselor Minimum Qualifications:
- Licensed mental health professional (LPC, LMSW, etc.)
- Strong understanding of the biopsychosocial model and integrated care principles.
- Minimum 1 day/week of clinical care
