Position Overview

IronRock Security is seeking a reliable and experienced Security Officer to oversee security operations for a camp near Swan Lake, NY. This role requires a strong presence, excellent communication skills, and prior experience with access control. The guard will help ensure site coverage, support fellow officers, and maintain a safe environment for staff and customers.

Responsibilities

• Manage and monitor access control points
• Conduct regular patrols of the residential property
• Perform occasional hourly patrols as needed
• Write clear incident and daily activity reports
• Support scheduling coordination and communicate staffing needs
• Maintain a professional and customer-friendly presence
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and emergencies appropriately
  
  

Requirements

• 2 years luxury retail, healthcare, or residential security experience required
• NY Guard Card preferred
• Valid driver's license
• Strong communication and report-writing skills
• Reliable, punctual, and professional demeanor
• Reliable means of transportation
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
  
  

Compensation & Benefits

• $18-20/hour
• Full-time and part-time opportunities available
• Medical insurance available to full-time employees working 30 hours
