Responsibilities
- Provide armed security coverage at designated religious institutions
- Maintain a strong, professional presence and situational awareness
- Control access points and monitor entry/exit activity
- Respond quickly and appropriately to incidents or emergencies
- Coordinate with site leadership and local law enforcement when needed
- Complete incident reports and daily activity logs
- Follow all company, client, and local regulations regarding armed security
- Active or prior law enforcement experience (required)
- Valid unrestricted concealed carry permit (required)
- NYS Armed Guard license and current certifications (or ability to obtain immediately)
- Excellent judgment, communication, and de-escalation skills
- Professional demeanor and reliability
- Ability to stand for extended periods and work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
- Experience working with houses of worship or community institutions
- Availability for recurring weekly shifts
- $35-38/hour
