Cashier

We're looking for a friendly and dependable Cashier to join our team in Louisville, KY. If you enjoy working with people, staying busy, and providing great customer service, we'd love to hear from you.

As a Cashier, you'll help customers during checkout, handle payments accurately, answer questions, and keep the front end of the store running smoothly. You'll work with a supportive team in a fast-paced retail environment where every day brings something new.

What You'll Do

Customer Service

• Welcome customers with a friendly and professional attitude
• Provide fast, accurate, and courteous service at checkout
• Answer customer questions and assist with basic product or store inquiries
• Help create a positive shopping experience for every customer

Cash Handling & Checkout

• Process cash, credit, debit, and mobile payments accurately
• Scan merchandise and complete transactions efficiently
• Issue receipts, refunds, exchanges, and store credits in accordance with company policies
• Balance your cash drawer and report any discrepancies promptly
• Follow cash handling and loss prevention procedures

Store Support

• Keep the checkout area clean, organized, and fully stocked
• Bag purchases carefully and assist customers when needed
• Help restock merchandise and maintain store presentation
• Support other team members during busy periods
• Perform additional store duties as assigned

What We're Looking For

• Friendly, reliable, and customer-focused
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Basic math and cash-handling skills
• Comfortable using point-of-sale (POS) systems or willing to learn
• Good attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Dependable attendance and punctuality
• Ability to stand for extended periods and occasionally lift up to 25 pounds
• Flexibility to work day, evening, weekend, and holiday shifts based on business needs
• Previous experience as a Cashier, Retail Associate, Sales Associate, Grocery Clerk, or in another customer-facing role is preferred but not required

• Full-time and part-time positions available
• Day, evening, and weekend shifts
