IronMountain Solutions is seeking a Contracts Specialist to join their Contracts Division at the Corporate office in Huntsville, Alabama. The selected candidate will be responsible for activities associated with contract negotiations, resolving issues, administering contract awards and modifications, and relationships from cradle-to-grave. A strong work ethic, the ability to work effectively with others and a healthy desire to acquire new skills are paramount in this position. Job is located at IMS Corporate Office in Research Park.
Job Duties:
- Administer various complex government or commercial contracts such as CPFF, T&M, FFP, IDIQ, GWAC, BPA from cradle to grave.
- Responsible for contract review, negotiations, preparation and administration of contractual documents and customer interface from award to project closeout.
- Working knowledge of FARs, DFARs, and GSA regulations
- The ability to multi-task, prioritize commitments, manage time effectively and work independently to meet time sensitive deadlines.
- May prepare, review and negotiate Consulting Agreements, Non-Disclosure and Teaming Agreements.
- Ensures timely processing of technical reports and deliverables.
- Interfaces with multiple levels of operations personnel and administrative staff related to contract issues and actions.
- Tracks and monitors the execution of tasks
- May be required to perform other related duties to meet the ongoing needs of the organization.
- Must be proficient in MS Office Suite of products with an emphasis on Excel and Word
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; sit; use tools or controls; normal physical activity (reach with hands and arms; climb stairs); and communicate effectively with all levels of employees and leadership. The employee must occasionally lift or move office products and supplies, up to 25 pounds.
Education and General Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree or Equivalent experience may be considered in lieu of a degree
- Must be able to communicate effectively with others in various roles in and outside of the company
- Ability to solve practical problems.
- Ability to multitask effectively and adapt to change.
- Must have the ability to work well with others.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret level security clearance is required.
