Job Description Destruction Technician Job Summary Iron Mountain is seeking a motivated Destruction Technician to join our Operations team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the secure and accurate destruction of customer materials while maintaining strict facility security and compliance with safety standards . What You'll Do (Responsibilities) In this role, you will: Process and Manage Destruction : Accurately empty collected material from containers, sort material by grade, cut open bags, and dump payloads delivered to the production facility. Operate and Maintain Equipment : Safely operate heavy machinery, including forklifts and Bobcat equipment, for up to five hours per shift. Perform routine cleaning and minor emergency equipment repairs to ensure continuous operation. Ensure Security and Compliance : Maintain strict security of all customer material and company trucks while ensuring compliance with organizational safety standards, policies, and regulations in a non-climate-controlled environment. What You'll Bring (Skills & Qualifications) The ideal candidate will have: 1–2 years of experience in a warehouse, production, or similar operations environment is required. Strong knowledge of safe material handling procedures and the ability to operate equipment such as a forklift or Bobcat is preferred, but not required. Proven ability in physical labor , including moving, lifting, and pulling two- and four-wheeled bins weighing up to 225 pounds. What We Offer Salary details: $18.50 - 20.00/ Per hour Shifts: Monday - Friday, 8:30 am - 5:00 pm. (With possible overtime) Location: 11701 Missouri Bottom Rd Hazelwood MO.
