Responsibilities
- Measure and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine gutter lengths and placement specifications.
- Use hand tools, power tools, ladders, and scaffolding safely and effectively during installation processes.
- Install seamless gutters, ensuring proper alignment, slope, and secure fastening according to manufacturer guidelines and construction plans.
- Perform related tasks such as fixture installation, caulking, sealing joints, and finishing touches to ensure a clean, professional appearance.
- Conduct quality inspections throughout the project to verify compliance with safety standards and technical specifications.
- Collaborate with team members and clients to address questions or concerns during installation projects.
- Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools and disposing of debris responsibly.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in gutter installation or related construction fields such as carpentry, masonry, or remodeling.
- Familiarity with construction management software like Bluebeam is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of building material installation, including hand tools, power tools, and measuring devices like tape measures.
- Ability to interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and construction plans accurately.
- Experience with ladder use, safety protocols, and working at heights is essential.
- Knowledge of other construction trades such as plumbing, electrical work, tile masonry, or stucco is advantageous.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly with clients and team members.
- Physical stamina for lifting heavy materials, climbing ladders, and working outdoors in various weather conditions.
