Dishwasher/Restaurant Cleaner

In this vital role, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of all kitchen and dining areas, ensuring dishes and utensils are sanitized and ready for service. Duties

• Wash, sanitize, and organize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans efficiently to support smooth kitchen operations
• Maintain cleanliness of kitchen surfaces, floors, sinks, and storage areas in accordance with health and safety standards
• Support bussing duties by clearing dish bins promptly
• Ensure all cleaning supplies are stocked and used responsibly to uphold hygiene protocols
• Follow proper food handling procedures to prevent contamination and ensure food safety compliance
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely dishwashing during busy service hours while maintaining a clean environment
• Come in 2 times per week before opening hours to: sweep and mop the restaurant floors, clean bathrooms thoroughly, dust windowsills and shelves, and vacuum out table centers.

Skills

• Strong understanding of cleaning procedures within a restaurant or hospitality setting
• Experience with food handling, sanitation standards, and health regulations
• Ability to perform physical tasks such as standing for extended periods, bending, lifting heavy items, and moving quickly in a fast-paced environment
• Knowledge of basic food preparation techniques and catering support is a plus
• Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with kitchen staff and servers
• Previous restaurant or hotel experience enhances your ability to adapt quickly in our lively setting
• A proactive attitude with a focus on maintaining cleanliness, safety, and guest satisfaction at all times

Restaurant Cleaning hours: Tuesdays 12-2:30pm & Fridays 12-2:30pm, $15/hr

Dishwashing hours: varies 5-10pm 2 to 3 times per week, $15/hr tips

Pay: From $15.00 per hour
