THIS POSITION COVERS ALABAMA, FLORIDA, GEORGIA, MISSISSIPPI AND TENNESSEE. THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL BE LOCATED IN A REGION NEAR ATLANTA, NASHVILLE OR ORLANDO.
The Regional Sales Manager is responsible for all sales activities within the assigned region. The overall objective of managing the territory is developing, maintaining and growing Industrial Sales to end user customers through our stocking distributors. Additional responsibilities include training and supporting our distribution network and assisting with evaluating and launching new products. Other job duties will be assigned as needed.
Education
• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, or related field preferred
• High school diploma or equivalent required job experience
• Minimum three years field sales experience with proven record of success
• Industrial, construction, consumer products or personal protective equipment (PPE) sales experience working through distributors preferred
Knowledge and Skills
• High level of organizational and time management skills
• Experience in developing and successfully executing regional sales strategies
• Strong presentation, negotiation and closing skills
• Strong written and verbal skills
• Ability to both, work independently and to collaborate with others
• Self-motivated and able to work independently to meet or exceed goals
• Familiarity with different sales techniques and pipeline management
• Computer proficiency in Microsoft applications
