Contract 3D Motion Designer (Video)

IRONCLAD Marketing is seeking a highly skilled and creative 3D Motion Designer to develop dynamic visual content for industrial and manufacturing brands. In this contract role, you’ll collaborate closely with our internal creative team to create 3D animations, motion graphics, and video assets that communicate complex ideas with clarity and impact. The ideal candidate has a strong eye for timing, lighting, composition, texturing, and camera movement, along with the ability to transform technical concepts into polished visual storytelling.
What You’ll Do
- Design and animate engaging 3D visuals, motion graphics, and video content from storyboard through final render.
- Collaborate with the art director and creative team to ensure work aligns with brand standards, messaging, and project objectives.
- Manage timelines effectively while communicating progress and project status clearly.
- Create and texture 3D assets, build scenes, set up lighting and cameras, and composite final outputs.
- Take feedback constructively and iterate quickly while maintaining a high level of quality and attention to detail.
- Organize project files and deliver clean, production-ready assets.
You’re a Fit for This Role If You:
- Have 3 years of experience in 3D motion design, animation, or related visual production work, supported by a strong portfolio.
- Are highly proficient in Blender and Adobe Creative Suite, including After Effects, Premiere Pro, Photoshop, and Illustrator.
- Can translate complex products, systems, and technical information into compelling visual content.
- Have a strong understanding of rendering workflows, animation principles, pacing, composition, and visual storytelling.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and capable of managing projects independently while maintaining strong communication and accountability.
- Bonus points for experience creating content for engineering, industrial, manufacturing or construction industries.
