What are the responsibilities and job description for the OTR CDL-A Driver (3072) position at Ironclad Environmental Solutions?
Job Summary:
The ideal candidate will have flatbed and step deck experience. The OTR Driver will occasionally drive a pick-up truck with a gooseneck trailer. The OTR Driver will be responsible for safely operating company vehicles with a capacity ranging from 10,000 pounds to beyond 26,000 pounds Gross Vehicle Weight (GVWR).
Typical Duties and Responsibilities:
- Safely operate a heavy or tractor-trailer truck
- Assist with loading and unloading cargo; use a sky track as needed.
- Properly track and document activity log
- Report any issues or incidents to dispatch
- Inspect truck before and after trip
- Assist in the yard with organization of inventory as needed
Qualifications:
- Ability to travel up to 50% is required
- Previous experience in truck driving or other related fields
- Flatbed experience is a MUST
- Commercial driver's license - CDL-A required
- Must have a clean driving record
- Ability to obtain a DOT Medical Card
- Ability to handle physical workload
- Ability to work a flexible schedule
- Strong work ethic
