Overview
Ironbridge Labs is a creative production and design studio working across branding, animation, 3D design, virtual production, immersive content, and emerging creative technologies. We are seeking a Creative Technologist who can bridge design and technical development, helping the studio explore new tools, build prototypes, and develop forward looking creative workflows.
This role blends experimentation, pipeline development, and hands-on production support across AI, motion, and 3D.
What You Will Do
• Build prototypes and exploratory tools using AI, real time engines, and creative technology platforms
• Work with generative systems including ComfyUI, Runway Gen 4, Veo, Wan, Google AI Studio, Fal AI, and related tools
• Evaluate new technologies and translate them into usable workflows for designers, animators, and technical artists
• Develop internal tools, scripts, or automations that support content creation and improve efficiency
• Support the integration of AI generated outputs into animation, design, and 3D pipelines
• Document workflows and help establish repeatable creative processes
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to turn concepts into functional systems
Requirements
• Experience experimenting with or building tools using AI, creative coding, or emerging media tech
• Familiarity with modern generative platforms for video and image creation
• Understanding of how design, animation, or 3D production workflows operate
• Ability to translate technical concepts into practical creative methods
• Strong problem solving and prototyping skills
• Portfolio or project examples showing hybrid creative and technical work
Nice to Have
• Experience with Unreal Engine, TouchDesigner, Processing, or Three.js
• Python or JavaScript scripting experience
• Background in motion design, computational design, or technical art
• Experience preparing datasets or refining model behavior
• Interest in real time rendering or interactive systems
