You will assist in various tasks including sales, inventory management, and cash handling. Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and provide assistance as needed to enhance their shopping experience.
- Process transactions accurately using the POS system, ensuring efficient cash handling practices.
- Maintain knowledge of products and promotions to effectively upsell and cross-sell items.
- Refurbish video games and consoles to our standards.
- Assist with stocking shelves, processing and organizing merchandise, and maintaining store cleanliness.
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues with professionalism and courtesy.
- Demonstrate strong phone etiquette when responding to customer calls or inquiries.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals and maintain high standards of customer service.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a retail environment is preferred.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage customers effectively.
- Proficiency in cash handling and familiarity with POS systems.
- Ability to upsell products and drive sales through effective communication.
- A passion for video games and pop culture.
- Excellent phone etiquette and interpersonal skills are essential for success in this role.
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
