What are the responsibilities and job description for the Seasonal Sales Associate position at Iron & Velvet, LLC.?
Think you’ve got what it takes to run with the pack?
Iron & Velvet is preparing for peak season in Leavenworth, WA, and we’re looking for a Seasonal Sales Associate we can train before the rush hits. We want someone who’s ready to learn the brand, build confidence on the floor, and step into our busiest season grounded and prepared—not thrown to the wolves. For the right person, this role offers real opportunity for expanded responsibility and promotion beyond the seasonal window.
Who We Are
Iron & Velvet is the collision of chrome and class—where leather meets luxury and rebellion meets refinement. We don’t just sell clothing and lifestyle goods; we tell a story of grit, freedom, and self-expression. Our store is a sanctuary for riders, creatives, locals, and travelers who choose curiosity and courage over the ordinary.
What You’ll Do
- Be the face of our flagship store, creating first impressions that last
- Build authentic, trust-based relationships with customers
- Confidently tell the Iron & Velvet story and guide customers toward pieces that resonate with who they are
- Drive sales through connection, storytelling, and product knowledge—not pressure
- Learn the brand, product details, and sales approach before peak season, so you’re confident when it counts
- Support high-energy weekends, festivals, and seasonal traffic with professionalism and presence
- Maintain visual standards and help keep the space sharp, intentional, and welcoming
- Navigate our downstairs location comfortably (stairs are part of the daily rhythm)
What You Bring
- 1–2 years of retail or customer-facing experience preferred (attitude and presence matter most)
- A natural ability to connect with people and start conversations
- Comfort guiding customers through a purchase experience
- Interest in fashion, motorcycle culture, alternative lifestyle, or creative communities
- Basic tech skills and comfort with POS systems
- Professional, grounded demeanor across a wide range of customers
- Physical stamina to be on your feet and move product as needed (up to 50 lbs)
The Reality Check
Our store is located below ground with artificial lighting and an intentional, moody atmosphere. You’ll work weekends, holidays, and busy seasonal days when Leavenworth is at its liveliest. If you thrive in energetic environments and enjoy being part of a team that shows up strong when it matters, you’ll fit right in.
Why Ride with Iron & Velvet?
- Join a growing brand from the ground up (opened September 20, 2025)

- Early onboarding and intentional training before peak season
- Clear opportunity for expanded responsibility and promotion for the right fit
- Compensation range: $18.66–$21.26/hour
- Starting pay typically begins in the lower portion of the range (25–50%), with strong growth potential through performance, training, and development
- Generous employee discounts (you should love what you sell)
- Mountain town energy, creativity, and community
- Priority consideration for future permanent roles
