Key Responsibilities
- Pull, route, and dress copper/fiber cables in trays and cabinets following defined routes and workmanship standards.
- Assist with termination and enclosure work as assigned; maintain bend radius and proper slack storage.
- Apply labels per instructions and participate in self-checks/peer checks to confirm correctness before the test.
- Support test teams by preparing links (cleaning connectors, verifying endpoints) and performing remediation tasks as directed.
- Maintain tool control, housekeeping, and safe work practices on ladders/lifts and in congested work areas.
- Practical installation knowledge for copper and fiber in data hall environments; ability to follow standards and work packages.
- Ability to use common installation tools and understand basic cable identification and cable route practices.
- Good attention to detail for labeling, dressing, and avoiding damage to cables/connectors.
- Team-oriented communication and readiness to escalate issues early.
- Preferred: Entry BICSI/FOA training or equivalent on-the-job experience.
