Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Security Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in security operations, law enforcement, or military service. This role is essential in maintaining the safety and security of our facilities, personnel, and assets. The Security Specialist will be responsible for monitoring surveillance systems, managing conflicts, and implementing loss prevention strategies.

Duties

• Monitor and operate CCTV systems to ensure the safety of the premises.
• Conduct regular patrols of the property to deter and detect signs of intrusion or suspicious activity.
• Respond promptly to alarms and incidents, providing first aid and CPR when necessary.
• Collaborate with law enforcement agencies as needed to address security concerns.
• Manage conflicts effectively, using conflict resolution techniques to de-escalate situations.
• Implement loss prevention strategies to minimize theft and damage to property.
• Maintain detailed logs of daily activities, incidents, and observations for reporting purposes.
• Provide assistance during emergency situations, ensuring the safety of all individuals on-site.

Requirements

• Proven experience in security, law enforcement, military service, or related fields is preferred.
• Knowledge of surveillance systems (CCTV) and loss prevention techniques.
• Certification in First Aid and CPR is highly desirable.
• Strong conflict management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
• Excellent observational skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Strong communication skills for effective interaction with staff and visitors.
