Position Summary:
Lead and manage maintenance and housekeeping operations to ensure the facility runs efficiently, safely, and hygienically. This hands-on leadership role involves supervising staff, maintaining compliance, and driving quality improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all maintenance operations, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and general repairs.
- Manage Environmental Services (housekeeping) to maintain a clean and safe environment.
- Supervise, train, and evaluate staff in both departments.
- Ensure compliance with Life Safety Code, OSHA, and state/federal regulations.
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance and housekeeping programs.
- Oversee vendor contracts and purchasing of supplies and equipment.
- Conduct inspections, safety checks, and participate in emergency drills.
- Maintain records, reports, and departmental budgets.
Required Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum 3 years supervisory experience in maintenance or EVS.
- Skilled in electrical, HVAC, and mechanical systems; knowledge of housekeeping operations.
- Licensed according to applicable standards and regulations.
- Skilled Nursing or Long-Term Care facility experience preferred.
- Valid driver’s license.
