Iron Oak Energy is looking for a dynamic Night Shift Utility Operator who will have a positive impact on the Operations team at its Tunnel City, WI location.
The successful candidate will have the following Key Accountabilities:
- Work in a safe manner and abide by all Iron Oak Energy and MSHA safety rules, regulations, and best practices.
- Be physically capable of performing job duties of a Utility Position, which include but are not limited to:
- Be capable of walking on uneven ground and up and down hills.
- Be capable of climbing ladders and working at height. Capable of wearing a respirator, safety harness, safety glasses, hard hat and other Personnel Protective Equipment.
- Be capable of working in year-round outdoor conditions which include hot, cold and wet weather.
- Be capable of push, pull, lift and carry 50 pounds on a continuous basis.
- Be capable of shoveling on a continuous basis.
- Be capable of being trained to operate stationary and mobile equipment in a harsh quarry environment.
- Knowledge of operating industrial sand plants, mobile equipment or maintenance practices is desirable.
- Be capable of reading and understanding safety warnings, safety procedures and written Job Instructions.
- Be capable of completing other duties as assigned or deemed necessary.
The successful incumbent will have the following Minimum Qualifications:
- Must be able to wear a respirator and other required personal protective equipment.
- Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- 2-3 years of experience required
