CDL Driver/Warehouse Technician

Job Summary

Iron Mountain is seeking a motivated CDL Driver/Warehouse Technician to join our Asset Lifecycle Management (ALM) team. In this role, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of commercial vehicles, including Department of Transportation (DOT) and Class B trucks, to transport client materials, while also performing essential warehouse functions. As a Mobile Shred Operator, you will act as the public face of ALM, engaging with clients and co-workers in a professional manner.

What You’ll Do

In this role, you will:

• Safely operate and maintain commercial vehicles for local and regional pickups, conducting pre-trip and post-trip inspections and strictly adhering to all DOT regulations and company safety policies.
• Organize and manage inventory within the warehouse, utilizing equipment like forklifts to efficiently prepare and process materials, including picking, packing, and labeling gaylords for shipment.
• Engage with clients and internal departments to ensure smooth material handling, assisting with loading and unloading freight and maintaining a clean and organized work environment.

What You’ll Bring

The ideal candidate will have:

• A minimum age of 21 with a valid Class B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) and a good driving record.
• Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and the proven ability to perform safe, efficient driving and material handling procedures.
• Proven ability in customer service and verbal communication to professionally engage with clients and stakeholders.
• The ability to pass a pre-employment substance abuse screening, background check, and DOT physical.

What We Offer (Benefits)

• Salary details: $25.00 per hour.
• Shifts: Monday – Friday, 7:00 am until the end of the shift, 4-5 days, with Overnight Travel (OTR) possible in Sterling, Reston, and Ashburn (based on business needs).
