Iron Mechanical is currently seeking a Mechanical Design Intern to work with our Pre-construction department in Sacramento! This position is part-time and requires 16-24 hours per week, with preferred availability on Mondays.
Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):
- Update Revit and CAD backgrounds
- Export Revit models to Navis models
- Create PDFs from CAD and Revit models
- Organize, highlight, and follow up on weekly tasks
- Assist in updating ventilation calculations
- Assist in updating equipment schedules
Qualifications:
- Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and problem solver
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Ability to collaborate with others
- Flexibility to adapt and learn quickly
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
- Basic knowledge/and familiarity with AutoCAD, Revit, Navis, and Bluebeam is preferred, but not required
