Service Manager
Iron Horse Equipment – Wallingford, CT
Salary: $75,000–$95,000 per year
Schedule: Monday–Saturday (Full-Time)

Responsibilities
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the service department.
- Schedule and prioritize repair work to maximize technician productivity.
- Lead, mentor, and hold technicians and service staff accountable.
- Communicate repair progress and estimates clearly with customers.
- Ensure all repairs meet manufacturer and company quality standards.
- Resolve customer concerns professionally and promptly.
- Monitor workflow, technician efficiency, and department profitability.
- Work closely with the parts department to minimize downtime.
- Maintain accurate work orders and service documentation.
- Continuously improve processes to provide an industry-leading customer experience.
Qualifications
- Strong mechanical and technical background in outdoor power equipment, agricultural equipment, construction equipment, automotive, diesel, or a related industry.
- Previous leadership or management experience preferred.
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
- Outstanding customer service and communication abilities.
- Ability to prioritize multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Comfortable using computers, service management software, and digital work orders.
- Positive attitude with a willingness to lead by example.
