What are the responsibilities and job description for the Vacation Rental Acquisition Specialist position at Iron Head Vacation Homes?
We’re looking for a driven, relationship-oriented individual to help us grow by signing new vacation rental management clients.
This is a commission-based role ideal for someone who wants flexibility, autonomy, and strong earning potential without being tied to a desk.
- Identify and connect with homeowners who may benefit from short-term rental management
- Build relationships with real estate agents, investors, and second-home owners
- Educate potential clients on revenue potential and our management services
- Generate and qualify leads (warm self-sourced)
- Set appointments or close deals directly (depending on experience)
- Represent our brand professionally in the local market
- Excellent negotiation skills with the ability to close deals effectively
- Strong marketing acumen to promote properties and attract new listings
- Exceptional communication skills—both verbal and written—to build trust and rapport with clients
- Customer service orientation with a focus on client satisfaction and relationship building
- Organizational skills to manage multiple prospects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail
- Previous experience in sales or real estate is a plus
- Hospitality experience is a plus
Pay: $10,000.00 - $40,000.00 per year
